ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS

In addition to the requirements mentioned earlier, please note that participants are also required to obtain US insurance coverage, ensure HIPAA certification, and secure malpractice insurance. These additional measures are essential to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in the United States.

  1.  US Insurance Coverage: It is necessary to obtain appropriate insurance coverage that is valid within the United States. This insurance should provide the necessary medical and liability coverage for the duration of your participation in the program (https://www.internationalinsurance.com).
  2.  HIPAA Certification: HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) certification is crucial in maintaining the privacy and security of patient information. It is imperative to complete the necessary training and obtain certification to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations during your involvement in the program (https://www.hipaatraining.com/hipaa-training-for-healthcare-providers).
  3.  Malpractice Insurance: Participants are also required to secure malpractice insurance, which protects against potential professional liability claims. This insurance coverage is essential to safeguard both the participant and the patients involved in the rotation (https://www.nexus-insurance.net/foreign-medical-students-malpractice-insurance).

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Upon receipt and thorough review of all the submitted documents, our team will diligently work to match you with a mentor who specializes in your preferred field. Before proceeding further, we would like to arrange a video call with you to discuss various aspects, including the practice location and an overview of the day-to-day activities involved. This process applies to both on-site practice rotations and telemedicine rotations.

During the video call, we aim to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the practice environment, ensuring transparency and clarity regarding the expectations and responsibilities associated with your chosen specialty. This conversation will serve as an opportunity for you to ask any questions and gain valuable insights into the practical aspects of your desired rotation.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE

We are pleased to inform you that our rotation program is offered to participants at no cost. However, it is essential to note that you will be responsible for processing your own B1 and B2 visas and covering any expenses related to board and lodging during the rotation period. Additionally, if this is your first time in the United States, we recommend considering accommodation near your rotation area for convenience and ease of access.

Please be advised that obtaining the necessary visa documentation is a crucial step in participating in the program. We highly recommend familiarizing yourself with the visa application process and adhering to the requirements set forth by the relevant authorities. It is essential to ensure that you allow ample time for visa processing to avoid any delays or complications.

Our team will be happy to provide guidance and support throughout the visa application process, offering any necessary information or documentation required to facilitate your application. Furthermore, we can provide suggestions or resources to assist you in finding suitable accommodation options near your rotation area.

If you have any specific inquiries or require further assistance regarding the visa process or accommodation, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are committed to ensuring a smooth and successful experience for all participants in our rotation program.
